DISCLAIMER: These ship builds are not recommended for pilots new to Anti-Xeno Content, they require a solid understanding of Thargoid mechanics and abilities to be able to survive, let alone destroy an Interceptor. USE THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK! In the right hands, however, they can be more effective than the standard ones. Click here to see our recommended builds.
Effective large ship, can be built with or without shields and is significantly more agile than the Cutter. A lower base speed makes it trickier to deal with distance, however it can achieve a lot with good AX knowledge.
General AX Build: EDSY - Coriolis The standard loadout. Can be modified to a repair build by downsizing one SCB to a class 6, and using a class 7D repair or 7E decontamination limpet controller instead, with a size 6 cargo rack replacing one hull reinforcement.
Shieldless: EDSY - Coriolis A shieldless variant, relying on tactics similar to medium ships but unable to kite in a straight line. Mastery of using the thermal vent beam and/or silent running is required to make this work.
Lots of hardpoints and decently tanky. Lacks the speed of the Cutter, but almost matches the maneuverability of the Corvette. An alternative Gauss placement than the linked builds is on the medium and top large hardpoints, allowing for better convergence per shot if the firegroup is split left/right. This comes at a cost of flak spread though.
It is possible to run 3xC6 Shield Cell Banks by powering down the AFM, FSD and Cargo hatch, as well as downgrading Life-Support and the GMRP to a regular MRP. Firing all three at once will generate massive amounts of heat, but will nearly match the Corvette’s C7 pair in terms of shield strength restored.
Capable medium ship and the only medium ship that can utilize prismatic shields effectively. Must rely upon shields due to lower base hull. Decent convergence and a huge hardpoint. Can use 3x Gauss and a huge beam for better heat management and wing support.
